FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (4/18)

We have three games on the FanDuel main slate tonight. It is the second game for each of these teams in 2018 NBA playoffs. Teams typically shorten their rotations during the playoffs, which makes it more difficult to find value plays, but we’ll try to provide you with some solid options below.

The Houston-Minnesota game is the highest projected game of the night with a 214.5 total but Houston is favored by 10 points. The Cleveland-Indiana game has a 209 total and the Utah-OKC game has a 206.5 total. As far as salaries go, there are five players priced at $9,800 or above. On a three-game slate with five studs and few true value plays, this will be a difficult night to construct rosters. Most likely you will not have a roster that you like but rather you will need to put together a roster that you can stomach.

If you want to play any of these top-end players tonight then you’ll need to find some salary relief to fit them into your roster. Here are 7 value plays that are worth considering as you set your lineup for tonight’s slate of games. Be sure to check the news and injury reports, especially in the 30 minutes prior to lock. Use all the information available to you to make the best decision possible for your lineup. Good luck and have fun!

FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (4/11)

This is the last night of the regular season. This is a massive slate of 12 games, and there is madness all around us. Other than the top two seeds in each conference, the other 12 playoff spots are still up for grabs. There are a lot of injuries, teams tanking, and teams trying to maneuver for playoff seeding. Tonight could get crazy so make sure to pay attention to the news.

Very few lines are out as of this writing because of all the uncertainty of who is and isn’t playing tonight. As far as salaries go, there are three guys at $12k or above. They all have some motivation, and the case can be made that they are great plays. They also could play just a half or sit out entirely. Russell Westbrook is at $12,300, LeBron James is priced at $12,100, and Anthony Davis has a $12,000 price tag. Whether you play these high-priced studs, there are still seven stars priced in the $9-11k price range.

If you want to play any of these top-end players tonight, then you’ll need to find some salary relief to fit them into your roster. This is the time of the year when plenty of value tends to open up. The only question is who will that be and when will you know who to play. Sometimes the news comes later in the day as to which players will sit and which bench players will get their chance to shine.

Here are 10 value plays that are worth considering as you set your lineup for tonight’s slate of games. Remember to check the news and injury reports, especially in the 30 minutes before lineups lock. Use all the information available to you to make the best decision possible for your lineup. Good luck and have fun!

FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (4/4)

Tonight could be one of the toughest slates of the year. There are only six games on the FanDuel main slate. With this being the last week of the season, it is tough enough trying to figure out which players are going to play but to make it even more difficult, 10 of the 12 teams in action tonight are on back-to-backs. Of the five games with a Vegas line at the time of this writing, the Memphis-New Orleans game has the highest projected score of 216. The Lakers-Spurs game has not yet been assigned a line, but it should be the highest on the slate.

As far as salaries go, Anthony Davis  is far and away the stud of the evening with a $12,600 price tag. Andre Drummond  is second at $10,000. There are three players in the 9k range. You will want to decide whether you will be jamming Davis into your lineups or playing more of a balanced roster.

If you want to play Davis or any of the other stars tonight, then you’ll need to find some salary relief to fit them into your roster. This is the time of year when plenty of value tends to open up. The only question is who that will be and when will you know who to play. Sometimes the news comes later in the day as to which players will sit and which bench players will get their chance to shine.

FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (3/28)

There are 8 games on the FanDuel main slate tonight but only four of the games have been assigned a line as of this writing. That is not entirely unusual since this is the time of the year when there is so much news about injuries and players sitting. Vegas tends to wait longer to set the lines for the games. Of the four, the Cleveland-Charlotte game has the highest projected total at 229.5.

As far as salaries go, Lebron James is the king of the night with his $12,500 price tag. He is nearly 2k more than the second highest priced player, Karl-Anthony Towns. You will need to decide if you will be forcing this exorbitant salary into your lineups. He burned a lot of people last night but had also won them a lot of money in the previous couple of weeks as he dominated the NBA and DFS. Whether you play Lebron or not, there is plenty of star power on this slate as 11 players are priced at $8,500 or above.

If you want to play any of these studs tonight then you’ll need to find some salary relief to fit them into your roster. This is the time of the year when plenty of value tends to open up. The only question is who will that be and when will you know who to play. Sometimes the news comes later in the day as to which players will sit and which bench players will get their chance to shine.

Normally, I only give nine value plays, but the Point Guard position could be very interesting tonight so you get a bonus.
