FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (3/28)

There are 8 games on the FanDuel main slate tonight but only four of the games have been assigned a line as of this writing. That is not entirely unusual since this is the time of the year when there is so much news about injuries and players sitting. Vegas tends to wait longer to set the lines for the games. Of the four, the Cleveland-Charlotte game has the highest projected total at 229.5.

As far as salaries go, Lebron James is the king of the night with his $12,500 price tag. He is nearly 2k more than the second highest priced player, Karl-Anthony Towns. You will need to decide if you will be forcing this exorbitant salary into your lineups. He burned a lot of people last night but had also won them a lot of money in the previous couple of weeks as he dominated the NBA and DFS. Whether you play Lebron or not, there is plenty of star power on this slate as 11 players are priced at $8,500 or above.

If you want to play any of these studs tonight then you’ll need to find some salary relief to fit them into your roster. This is the time of the year when plenty of value tends to open up. The only question is who will that be and when will you know who to play. Sometimes the news comes later in the day as to which players will sit and which bench players will get their chance to shine.

Normally, I only give nine value plays, but the Point Guard position could be very interesting tonight so you get a bonus. Here are 10 value plays that are worth considering as you set your lineup for tonight’s slate of games. Remember to check the news and injury reports, especially in the 30 minutes prior to lock. Use all the information available to you to make the best decision possible for your lineup. Good luck and have fun!

FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (3/14)

There are only 4 games on the FanDuel main slate tonight. It doesn’t look to be a slate filled with fantasy goodness and there are a lot of question marks. Only two players are priced at $9,000 or above with Giannis Antetokounmpo  leading the way at $12,000k and Kevin Durant at $10,500. With only two studs on the slate, it might seem that we don’t need to find as much value as normal. However, if you don’t play the Greek Freak and/or Durant, you might find yourself way behind to start with in terms of raw points.

We usually look at our value plays as players at $5,000 and below. That is going to be difficult to find many of those tonight. Roster construction will be interesting as you’ll need to decide what you’ll do with the two studs. If you choose a balanced approach, you will be able to fit nearly all of the other top-priced players in your lineup with the exception of 1-2 value plays.

FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (3/7)

There are 6 games on the FanDuel main slate tonight. Be aware that FanDuel is not including the lone 7:00 pm game on the main slate. Half of the games are expected to be high-scoring with plenty of fantasy goodness. The Cleveland-Denver game has the highest projected total at 230 in a game that is expected to be close. The New Orleans-Sacramento game and the Orlando-L.A. Lakers game are both expected to be in the 225-226 range.

There are only six players priced above $9,000 tonight. The red-hot Anthony Davis has an extremely high $13,000 price tag. Lebron James is close behind at $12,500. If you want to play these studs, you’ll have to find some value plays to give yourself some salary relief.
